RUMOURS: Cyberfusion 2009 Episode 2??

Surprise, surprise, after the recent success of breaking NVision 2008's world record for the Longest LAN Party in the World, it looks like CyberFusion is raring to go for another episode this year!

A message from CyberFusion's Facebook Group has made us gone riot. According to Elroy Ng in his message, here's what he said:-

And yes, the rumours are True ^^" CyberFusion[2] 2009, in currently in its planing stages so keep your fingers crossed. This time, things can only get better XD

Well Elroy, your message reminds us about how 274 gamers sacrifice their sweat,tears and sleep to break the Guinness World Record. Anyone still have their CyberFusion's backpack? xD

However, we never expected the second Cyber Fusion could be so soon in this year? So, what's up for this Cyber Fusion? Another World Record breaking attempt?

Whatever rumours it is, we just hope it would be come true and boost Malaysia's chance for the rights to organize WCG Asian Championship 2010. So, stay tuned and watch this space! xD

Rumous: New Home For FIFA09 And NFS

Rumors has it that a popular gaming client will be adding up FIFA 09 and NFS into their hosted server.

An insider source told us that they will be adding up both of this establish game soon and have many future plans to work on it.One of it is to held an online tournament and league.

This will definitely boost the NFS and FIFA09 lovers and add up more colors for the gaming community in the future.

This is one rumors that we hope it will be true in the future.

Rumours: Answering Marshall Ban

We manage to gali-gali and korek-korek into the X-Files of the organizers who were to be said involve with the controversy. Our inside source inform us some interesting data that outsiders never know about the marshall case. It is our priviledge here at Spotgamers to reveal the case from the organizer view. Are you ready? Here it goes:



Marshall Abang Comel File Number 37514:


It was reported that the organizer company(lets call them Company B) have offered this marshall not just to be a marshall for the event but also to be a permanent staff for Company B since last year while he was still studying.

For the marshall job, during the invitation Marshall Abang Comel was working with another company so Company B felt tht it doesnt seems fit to recruit him as the marshall anymore. Although Marshall Abang Comel boss doesnt mind about the recruitment but it doesnt seems professional for the organizing company to accept him.

Although later Marshall Abang Comel quit working with the another company but Company B never received any application from Marshall Abang Comel to be as a marshall for the event.



Marshall Abang Best File Number 06518:


Company B has invited Marshall Abang Best to fill a very important position for the event. But Marshall Abang Best told Company B to wait for his answer after a certain event that he might participate early May.

But as time goes by no answer was heard from Marshall Abang Best. Since time is running out, Company B were looking for someone else and manage to find another marshall to fill in the position.




So there you have both side of the story. It looks like there were some misunderstanding going on. We hope that after both side of story has been heard things will started to get better. Its enough that our community being plague by controversies more than achievement. In the end we are still nowhere near the pro-gaming dream.

Rumours: Yamateh to Quit from Kingsurf.Gaming

After their first best achievement which most Malaysia has not done which is to play in an international competition final (ESWC), Kingsurf.Gaming who won 1st Runners up may lose thier popular star KS.Yamateh. After the end of the ESWC, Yamateh will withdraw from KS.Gaming because of personal problems with the other members of the team. Recruiting new members to replace the slot of Yamateh is still unknown. It has been a great loss to our gaming community and also our country to see one of the best DotA team in the world losing its King. We will update you all on this topic as real sources are out. Rumors: Marshal Ban?

Rumors has it that a certain group of marshal has been ban from handling a gaming event in Malaysia. It was reported from our source that the organizer of this event is punishing those who have help in a certain event.


Our source told us that this group of marshal helping in organizing the event due to lack of man power. Plus they were the only one experience marshals in that field. So it was pretty obvious that if they wont do their job nobody will.

As we all know there are just a handful of marshals available here in Malaysia. Plus they are freelancers and not contract bounded by any company. Thus how could they be ban when they are independent body and no string attach with any company? The source told us that they have never sign any contract stated that they are working with the organizers nor being paid monthly as well. So this put a big question mark in this banning controversy.


Whatever it is, this is not a smart move since there are not many people willing to do such a high responsibility job as the marshal. Plus this group of marshal are experience marshals as well. It would be hard to find another better marshal than them. But the saddest case is this marshals could not obtain justice since there are no relevant tribunal to help them.


So would this ban affected the gaming community? We shall see.

Rumours: Its all about KL Taufan

NEW faces add into KL Taufan?

Well,not everyone know what KL Taufan is..it is not just a name,group or clan..
it is a bunch of highly regarded pro-gamers which plays for Championship Gaming series franchise..
Championship Gaming Series (CGS) is the first worldwide professional video gaming league.
KL Taufan in one of the CGS franchise..on The first season,there wasn't much hype about the league..
gamers here didn't give that much of attention to the league..
On the second season however, KL taufan has a new line-up and managed to go to the semi-final of Pan-Asian Finals..

what makes him decide to step down? We don't have so much info on DOA players,but we are pretty sure that they are looking for best replacements for the team..
with months away from the next season,we expect to see new faces in the team..with the mental preparations, hours of training, we believe that KL taufan will be the team to beat in the next season..
