FIFA Online 2 Hits Across Malaysia

Last weekend, EA has launched a pre-match event almost all around Malaysia and Singapore to promote its newest edition of MMORPG FIFA Online 2. One of our reader and also friend, TPK

manage to head down to Ipoh and had a try on the new awaited game. Come lets check out what he had to say about the event:

After much speculation and rumors around, finally EA Games and Neowiz brings a new Sports MMORPG to South East Asia, FIFA Online 2, thanks to IAHGames. The No. 1 Sports MMORPG in South Korea & China have undergone closed beta testing last month and are scheduled to open the game for Open Beta Test on 28 November 2008.

In conjunction with open beta test, IAHGames has organized a Pre-Match Build Event at selected cybercafés in Malaysia and Singapore. The participants are given 3 hours to enjoy the game free of charge plus Top 88 players in with the most multiplayer matches wins will receive SGD30 worth of cash points for use in the commercial phase of FIFA Online 2.

I was at Padu Indah Internet, Ipoh, Perak to join the event and the turnout are quite encouraging with more than 10 people filled up the slot allocated for the cybercafé. As expected, it's almost like a nostalgia between Malaysia vs Singapore when players from both country fight on 1 vs 1 match and work together on 2 vs 2 match to create more excitement of the match.

.

Unfortunately, lagging issues occurred during the event when players from both countries encountered lags when playing each other. Even though, this doesn't hamper the fun of playing FIFA Online 2.

My performance? 18 wins and 4 losses (2 from Singapore and 2 from the cybercafé itself!)

Big thanks to IAHGames for bringing this game to South East Asia. For those who missed the event, no worries because you can still join the event during the Open Beta Test. Just log on to http://fifaonline2.iahgames.com , register and download the client server there.

Have fun! xD

P/S: No babes are included...
