WCG Asian Championship 2008 Malaysia Representitive for FIFA08 - [WInDs] Si_Jali

Woo..Si_Jali Preparing his tactics..!Doing his "homework"!

World Cyber Games Asian Championship will be held at Suntec City, Singapore on the 7th of August 2008 which will be in a week time. A total of 5 games will be held for this Championship. Malaysia will be participating in FIFA08, NEED FOR SPEED PRO STREET, and also DOTA. Here i am with the Malaysia representitve for FIFA08 [WInDs] Si_Jali.

We will be looking forward on him to bring back a gold medal for our country! Lets see what he has to say.

Spotgamers : First of all, congratulations on winning the WCG.Kick Off tournament previously. How is your preparation going on for the WCG Asian Championship?

Si_Jali : It is not that good, i don't really have enough time to prepare. Since i came back from Taiwan, I've been handling alot of projects which includes Spotgamers. In the end, it consumes most of my free time. So ..yeah, im rusty at the moment and i still haven't found my form yet.

Spotgamers : Hmm, i assume you are not in your best form at the moment then, but u just won in the recent WCG.MY Prelim. I suppose when you are in a better condition, there are not many players in the world can beat you?Let alone Asia?

Si_Jali : I alaways believe that the fastest runner never wins the race, but its the fastest thinker that win. In the recent prelim im using most of my experience and natural reflex with a little bit of mind game to overcome my opponent. You don't have to look far away for someone to beat me, in Malaysia there are plenty. This is because the FIFA standard in our country improve every year, so being a Malaysia champion is something that everyone can be proud of. It's because you are not the king among the noob, you are the king among the greatest. I am not really sure about the standard and situation outside Malaysia because i never play with them before, but judging from the standards set by them, we are not far away, maybe just 1 or 2 level to catch up.

Spotgamers : I see, so you do rate the Malaysia fifa scene very high. You did won the Asian Championship previously in 2006, base on that, you still think that there are a lot of catching up need to be done?

Si_Jali : Of course, during 2006 i got nothing much to do and i can just FIFA all day long. Now in 08 it's different, it is the toughest year compare to the rest. I need to find time in my busy schedule. I even had to woke up early in the morning just to find the time to practice. Sad to say i never manage to woke up, so...yea...GG! However, i still manage to practice 2 to 3 hours a day, but i know if i am going to repeat the history again, i need to have other strategies as well. So far through out the year i am pretty lucky i might say, because most of the match i played was based on strategic planning, and it shows that strategic planning is crucial if u want to win. This will definitely be the key to my victory later in Singapore. Win or lost doesn't really matter that much to me, both of them are the key to success. Winning increases your confident while losing motivates and spur revenge, both are good in a positive way, but of course victory would be better. ^^

Spotgamers : Haha, i guess most of us will definitely hope you will bring the gold medal back for us. Any pressure on your shoulders now??

Si_Jali : My objective in any tournament is to win. If nobody put pressure on me, i will put pressure on myself.

Spotgamers : Haha, you do enjoy the feeling of being pressured i assume?

Si_Jali : I enjoyed being pressured by many beautiful girls, rather than being pressured by you. Wahahaha!

Spotgamers : Great sense of humour you have...XD! So, you were drawn in a group which includes Japan, Singapore and Indonesia. What do you think about it?

Si_Jali : I don't know anything about Japan and indonesia, but i do acknowledge that both country are good in Winning Eleven, so they do have strong basic foundation in football games i assume. As for Singapore players, they have always been our friends, their standard is as good as ours too, so it is not going to be an easy ride in this group. And I still think its better to be pressured by beautiful girls rather than being pressured by you. Wahahah!

Spotgamers : There is the possibility that you will be facing your clanmate Xtreme in the group if he wins the Singapore WCG. Any comments?

Si_Jali : gl hf (Good Luck!Have Fun!)

Spotgamers : Confident of beating him and top the group if he really does qualify for ACG?

Si_Jali : The only person i need to beat is myself, if i don't beat myself i will not win anything.

Spotgamers : How bout japan? What do you think about them?Do you think they will be the dark horse in the group?Although this is the first time they participate in WCG Asia Championship.

Si_Jali : I dont't know anything about Japan as i say, all i know is there are many pretty girls in Japan, and i hope they will come to Singapore. So...yea..thats all. ^^

Spotgamers : Ahh, so you are more into the girls there than anything else??

Si_Jali : Of course, i am a guy, i am not gay. What kind of question is this?

Spotgamers : In your opinion, which player is the toughest to beat? The one that will cost you the most trouble during the competition? Can u please SPECIFICALLY mention a name??

Si_Jali : can i say Si_Jali??

Spotgamers : I know you need to beat yourself, but other than that any opponent you think is tough or you would like to avoid?

Si_Jali : Korea, China, India, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand have good fifa player, but i want to play with either Korea or China in the final, because i lost to them in CGS. I want revenge! This is my opportunity to get back what is mine, and i don't intend to back off. It will be the sweetest revenge of all, because revenge is sweet. ^^

Spotgamers : You did mention that Group B is the group of death. You've been to Taiwan recently, what do you think about the gaming scene there? There is no need to mention about the girls,i know the standard there=P.

Si_Jali : I don't really know also, haven't play with many Taiwanese during my time there. I know got many Piao Liang there, hope they will be there in Singapore as well. ^^

Spotgamers : So, confident enough to bring back the title this year? You definitely seems so as your shoutout in Friendster says "King of Asia in 7 days"?

Si_Jali : As i say, my objective in any tourney is to win. You put me in any tourney, if i join, i want to win! Even if its playing musical chair, i still want to win! Even if its monopoly, i want to win!

Spotgamers : Good determination u have there. Last but not least, anything you would like to add before i end the interview?

Si_Jali : Since it is the last year in Singapore, come down and support Malaysia! Feel the excitement! Feel the passion! Feel the glory of the Kings of Asia!

Spotgamers : We definitely hope that you will be one of the King then! All the best to you on behalf of spotgamers. Thanks for the interview!

Si_Jali : Thanks, you are welcome!
