We all have heard the news of the attempted censorship/blocking in internet in our country.. and for us gamers this news kinda 'kill' the fun and happy atmosphere of the internet.
Even Tun Mahathir is against it. Here is an excerpt of his speech from Bernama:
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Saturday the Internet should not be censored in any way, and it is wrong to do so although some things need to be disciplined.
"For example, there is too much violence coming through on the Internet. That, I think, we have a right to ban but as far as political thinking, if you are not instigating violence and things like that, I think the Internet should not be censored in any way," he said.
So what do you guys think? Should the internet be filtered or leave it as it is?
