Heyya guys, we're back again for the second day of SMM Grand National Dota Tournament. Things are getting heated up today as we proceed to the main group where top 40 teams will battle it out for 16 spots in the knockout round.

12:38 AM: Finally Kingsurf put the end of AEON.SG after winning the intense match-up against AEON.SG.

11:59 PM: It looks like Kingsurf is pushing through the towers. Things are getting tough for AEON.SG to defend Singapore's honours of what we call as the Grand Causeway Battle of DotA.
11:55 PM: The match between Kingsurf and AEON.SG are level right now at 16 minutes. One tower down for Kingsurf and AEON. The score is tied at 9-9. While on the stage, the match between StarsBoba and CityHunter is still underway with CityHunter leading with the score of 21-14.
11:48 PM: The match between Kingsurf and AEON.SG is underway and their draft picks are as follows:-
Kingsurf: Shadow Fiend, Netherdrake, Stone Giant, Demon Witch, Vengeful Spirit
AEON.SG: Storm Spirit, Earthshaker, Necrolyte, Spectre, Crystal Maiden.
Less than ONE MINUTE, Kingsurf got the first blood and there goes the rampage between them. There was also exchanges of taunts between Kingsurf and AEON.SG, signalling the intense rivalry between them.
It seems that Kingsurf is leading right now and AEON.SG is Singapore's last hope for Top 8 in SGNDT 2009.
11:18 PM: The question of the supremacy between East and West has been answered when AEON.SG shuts down PokerIdol in the Loser Bracket.
Here we are for the match that we are waiting for. The first time ever since their split middle of this year. The match that will answer the question whether Eryc's decision to get out is right or the worse decision. Here we are...
AEON.SG WILL PLAY AGAINST KINGSURF IN THE LOSER BRACKET ROUND THREE. ONE WINNER WILL MOVE ON AND THE LOSER CRASHED OUT.
10:55 PM: China already have one representative in the Grand Final after CommeDieu crushes InC.Excello's hopes to secure a spot for the host country. Waiting for CommeDieu is their compatriot, none other than the defending champions, EHOME.

10:10 PM: Well, what do we have here. Our sole representative in the Winners Brackets, WCG Asian Runners-Up, InC.Excello is taking on China's CommeDieu. If one hurdle goes down, it would be another China team waiting for them, but it either would be between FtD or EHOME.

9:55 PM: FTZ's giant-killing feat came to an end after WCG Asian Champions, StarsBoba defeated them in the Losers Bracket. The same fate follow Cybertime after they have been knocked out by their ADC rivals, AEON.SG

7:00 PM: Top 16 matches almost concluded with the exception of CityHunter vs PokerIdol is playing, screaming and shouting. LOL
6:25 PM: Full group standings have been updated. Currently we have the giant-killers, FTZ Asia taking on Kingsurf on the main stage for Top 16.
Meanwhile FtD, EHOME and Mineski booked their spot in Winners Bracket after beating XtC, StarsBoba and MCiTY
5:39 PM: BREAKING NEWS!! MYM has been knocked out from SMM Grand National DotA Tournament 2009 after losing the match-up to FTZ Asia. With that result, the question between the supremacy between Asian and European DotA has been answered!
4:30 PM: Apologies for the late update. Currently on the main stage, we have a do-or-die match between MYM and FTZ Asia. One of these teams would be going to the knockout round with INC.Excello if they won.
Could FTZ Asia making history this time?
